The major purpose of Friends of The New York City Riding Academy is to help raise funds for New York City Riding Academy.  Some of the major Friends of The New York City Riding Academy fund raising efforts will include, but not be limited to: (1) solicitation of donations; (2) trail rides; (3) horse shows; (4) theatre parties; (5) Bar BQ’S; (6) picnics; (7) musical concerts; (8) sale of New York City Riding Academy trademark items; (9) equine trips; (10) equine workshops; (11) to secure individual $500.00 horseback riding scholarship funding for economically needy students to attend the New York City Riding Academy; and (12) to secure corporate funding and sponsorship for the New York City Riding Academy.
